The Facilities Neutral rating requires offsetting all direct emissions 100%.

Aviation emissions include ground-based emissions from support activities like aircraft fueling, ground handling, and maintaining aircraft. Facilities have the ability to be on the front lines for demonstrating their commitment to sustainability and 4AIR can assist with affirming that commitment.

A Rating Designed for Facilities

4AIR can assist facilities with demonstrating that they have achieved carbon-neutral status.  By reviewing existing carbon footprint and carbon offsetting efforts, 4AIR can provide an outside, independent affirmation of facilities and ground emissions being carbon neutral.

If a program is not in place, 4AIR can assist with compiling the footprint and procuring the carbon offsets in a customized portfolio for the facility. 4AIR pulls in an aviation-specific third-party auditor to provide the same program assurance and oversight that 4AIR would in reviewing a program.

Upon achieving the Facility Neutral rating, 4AIR will assist and provide customized promotion of the facility’s commitment. This can include press releases, promotion on the 4AIR website, social media, listing the 4AIR badge on digital properties* as well as other initiatives. A promotion plan will be built and customized for each partner.
